Living in Spain now for nearly 4 years, just read the site and the sad news.a pain in the bum but that was ken he always meant well.He was piggy in the middle when i first met my future in laws, a bloody hero even i didn't want 2 b there. The cooperage was a nightmare if we got back from a gig early, still it saved the washing of the smalls.Remember when he drove 2 Redhill surrey 2 buy some stage lights, he didn't have a pleasant journey home (the curry maybe). He phoned 2 tell me the band hhad won the club band award the bill must off been massive just like his presence.Lots of fond memories Bob & Rosy

Great show on Sunday 23/5/10 at the East Dene in Rotherham. Pity it was the warmest weekend of the year, so you didn't get the crowd you deserved.A great Queen medley at the end of the first spot and loved the Stereophonics. By the end of the night quite a crowd dancing to The Jam . Hope to see you at The Dene again soon. Allan

Just a note.   I was just surfing and looking for a club address when I came on your site... Oh man, I just read the biography when I clicked on Ken's link. I gigged with you guys at Scotswood club and remember Ken talking about feeling old and being a grandfather in an almost embarassed fashion like he shouldn't still be banging the plank round the clubs. I told him he was still younger than the Stones which seemed to make him feel more philosophical about doing what he does. Rock'n' roll does seem to have an edge of ongoing drama attached to it with great times and it's share of tragedies... I had a bass player die suddenly many years ago (suicide unfortunately) and that was very tough to take. I've shed many tears for friends for different reasons but I'm blessed to have been part of it all. I recall the gig we played together and it was nice to spend time with you guys. You were really nice to me and I felt the show was a nice co-op event, and enjoyed jamming the Quo number at the end. I realise it's a year on but I really didn't know and it came as a shock to hear about Ken. I felt compelled to pay some sort of respect to him, and yourselves, even though it may be somewhat delayed, so this note is it. I'm glad to see things are going well for the band and good luck for the future. Hope you have a good Christmas and all the best for 2010. Kind Regards Dave
